Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour has been ordered to remove a beach hut from his seafront mansion in East Sussex, England or face prosecution. According to the Brighton and Hove City Council, Gilmour's yellow bicycle storage hut is an eyesore and out of place in the conservation area.

Gilmour's wife, Polly Samson, has appealed unsuccessfully against the board's decision. The council has since made it clear that if the hut is not removed by the end of this month, they will enforce the ruling by having the structure taken down at Gilmour's expense.
