David Crosby will embark on an 18-date North American tour this August ahead of the scheduled fall release of a new solo album.
“An Evening with David Crosby” will feature the Byrds and Crosby, Stills and Nash musician performing songs from throughout his career. Crosby’s son, James Raymond, will join him on piano. The tour begins August 18th at the South Orange Performing Arts Center in South Orange, New Jersey, and wraps September 15th at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver.
Crosby finished recording his latest solo album, produced by Snarky Puppy bassist-composer, Michael League. The as-yet-untitled LP is set to arrive this fall and will follow Crosby’s 2014 record, Croz. Prior to Croz, Crosby hadn’t released a studio album since 1993’s Thousand Roads.
Crosby wrapped up his most recent U.S. solo tour in March, and has a string of Hawaiian dates scheduled for July as well.
