Dave Stewart “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head”

On August 23rd Dave Stewart will release The Blackbird Diaries, his first album of original material since 1998. The disc contains duets with Colbie Caillat, The Secret Sisters, Stevie Nicks and Martina McBride as well as one song that he co-wrote with Bob Dylan. Check out the video for “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.”

Stewart has been busy recently. The former Eurythmics guitarist recently produced tracks on the new Stevie Nicks LP, and has formed the new supergroup Super Heavy with Mick Jagger. One project he’s unlikely to work on soon, however, is a Eurythmics reunion. “I’m very much enjoying my autonomy and my freedom,” Annie Lennox recently told Rolling Stone. “If I were to work with Dave again, which is not beyond the realms of possibility, it would mean that I’d be tied to another person. So, I’m enjoying, for the last twenty years, being independent. It serves me rather well.”
