Drake Acolytes City Girls Drop Raunchy New Song ‘Twerk’

City Girls flaunt sex and wealth on their raunchy new song “Twerk.” “I’m a top-notch bitch, need some top-notch dicks,” the Miami duo rhyme on the club-friendly track over sampled scratches, booming synth-bass and grinding hi-hats. Later, they add, “I can buy my own, but I’d rather spend y’all’s.”

City Girls will release their second LP, Girl Code, on November 16^th. The album follows their April-issued debut, Period, and June guest spot on Drake’s chart-topping Scorpion hit “In My Feelings.”

The duo’s JT began serving a two-year prison sentence for credit card fraud on the day Scorpion was released. “I just keep doing everything we were doing before she left,” the group’s other member, Yung Miami, told Rolling Stone this summer about their career strategy.

Between the rapper’s sentencing and the start of her sentence, City Girls prepared for handling what Yung Miami called a “minor setback to a major comeback” – filming videos for Period singles like the title track and “Millionaire Dick.”
