A Los Angeles Superior Court Judge revoked Chris Brown‘s probation for a second time this year on Monday, as a result of Brown’s arrest for allegedly assaulting a Washington, D.C. man in October. The singer still must complete the rehab and community labor requirements, such as roadside cleanup and graffiti removal, related to his 2009 assault on Rihanna, according to The Associated Press. Brown’s prosecutors did not request that the singer be placed in jail. He will have to return to court on February 10th to update the judge on his progress in rehab.

Last month, Brown was ordered to serve 90 days of rehab, after the singer was kicked out of his previous rehab stint stemming from an incident where he threw a rock through his mother’s car window after a treatment session. At the hearing on Monday, Brown’s probation officers reported that the singer was benefitting from the program. The singer’s attorney reportedly agreed with the judge’s decision to revoke Brown’s probation without a jail sentence.

Still, Brown’s court appearances will continue into the new year. He’s scheduled to appear before a D.C. judge in January over charges related to that alleged misdemeanor assault in October. Aside from his ongoing legal troubles, Brown released three singles this year, that are marked for his upcoming sixth studio album X, due out in 2014.
