Cee-Lo Green is postponing the debut of his new Las Vegas show, Loberace, due to scheduling conflicts with The Voice, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to be among the great music legends who have had a Las Vegas residency, and I was very much looking forward to launching Loberace this year,” Cee-Lo said in a statement, adding that the show will now premiere in early 2013.

Inspired by the flamboyant costumes and theatrics of Liberace and promising “mind-twisting magic and sexified showgirls,” Green’s Loberace was set to start August 29th at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Dates have been rescheduled starting in late February 2013 and will run through April 13th; tickets go on sale August 1st. Those who purchased tickets for the initially announced run can exchange theirs for a rescheduled date or receive a refund.

“Most importantly,” added Cee-Lo, “to all my fans who have already purchased tickets, please accept my sincerest apology and I hope you can still join me in Vegas next year, so I can properly and finally introduce you to my brainchild.”

With The Voice set to return on September 10th, two of Cee-Lo’s fellow judge’s have received their advisers: Mary J. Blige has joined Adam Levine’s team and Michael Buble is partnering with Blake Shelton.

Cee-Lo also recently reconnected with his roots, reuniting with his group Goodie Mob, who helped him out during his set at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival this past spring.
