Cardi B shares a few of her favorite things on her new song, “Money.” The track marks the rapper’s first solo offering since the release of her acclaimed debut, Invasion of Privacy. “Money” boasts a stomping yet simple beat built around spitfire trap drums and stark piano strikes. Cardi rides the beat with characteristic aplomb, switching flows with ease as she unravels an array of punchlines and another instantly memorable hook: “I was born to flex/ Diamonds on my neck/ I like boarding jets/ I like morning sex/ But nothing in this world/ That I like more than checks.”

The record debuted atop the Billboard album charts and spawned a second Number One hit, “I Like It,” to accompany her breakout single, “Bodak Yellow.” In recent months, the rapper has featured on several tracks including Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You,” Pardison Fontaine’s “Backin’ It Up” and DJ Snake’s “Taki Taki,” which also boasts Ozuna and Selena Gomez. Amidst all of this, Cardi B also gave birth to a daughter, Kulture, with Migos’ Offset.
Cardi B has a handful of tour dates lined up for this fall and winter. She’ll most notably perform at several dates on the annual iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour, starting November 30th at the Forum in Los Angeles, California.
