Opening arguments to begin March 24th

Los Angeles Superior Court judge Michael Pastor has ruled that television cameras will be allowed to film the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, who is accused of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson. Pastor also moved up the start date of the trial by four days to March 24th.

Though Pastor will allow cameras in his courtroom, he is insisting that local news crews submit detailed proposals for setting up equipment in the least intrusive ways possible. He has also declined to allow cameras to film the process of jury selection.
