Bruce Springsteen Thrills Australian Fans With ‘Highway to Hell’ Cover

The song choice served as a fitting tribute to late AC/DC singer Bon Scott, who grew up near Perth and died in 1980, leaving Highway to Hell as his final album with the band. The cover came to a head with a four-way guitar face-off between Springsteen, Nils Lofgren, Steven Van Zandt and Tom Morello.
“Thanks Perth for 3 amazing nights!” Morello tweeted after the show. “Opened show tonite in Bon Scott’s hometown with muthaflippin’ “HIGHWAY TO HELL”. The AC/DC Street Band?!”
