The three-day festival, taking place April 4th – 6th in North Texas, will be held in conjunction with next month’s Men’s Final Four brackets, with organizers scheduling live performances between games. On Friday, April 4th, Aldean will headline the AT&T Block Party, with performances scheduled from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 5th, will find McGraw headlining the Coke Zero Countdown before the first semifinal game and the Killers headlining immediately following the game. In addition to headlining, the Killers have also signed up to be the main musical backdrop for a massive March Madness video campaign.
Fun. will kick off the Capital One JamFest on Sunday, April 6th, with Springsteen closing the three-day festival. Additional performances are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The annual concert series has attracted numerous big-name acts, including Sting, Dave Matthews Band, Muse, The Kings of Leon, KISS, The Black Keys, Kid Rock, LL Cool J and Taylor Swift.
The show is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis, so expect devoted Springsteen fans to line up early, especially given the musician’s galvanizing choice of covers in recent weeks. Last month, Springsteen kicked off his show in Perth, Australia with a cover of AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell.” Ten days later, the singer took on INXS’ “Don’t Change” in Sydney before closing out his Australian tour in Brisbane with a cover of Bee Gees’ “Stayin’ Alive.” Most recently, Springsteen treated a New Zealand crowd to a cover of Lorde’s “Royals” (“You can call me King B”).
