The Austin, Texas R&B band Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears returned to the Late Show with David Letterman last night to play "Livin' in the Jungle," a super-charged selection from their latest album Scandalous. Lewis is the focal point of the tune with his bold, classic soul voice and distorted rhythm guitar, but the entire band shines in this performance, particularly the tight pocket rhythm section and their powerhouse brass ensemble. Letterman is clearly a fan. "I don't know what to say," the host said after the band wrapped up. "Let's have that every night!"
