12 Albums We’re Looking Forward to in 2013: Beyoncé, Title TBD (Date TBD)
“The Mrs. Carter Show” outing will be Beyoncé’s first major tour since 2009’s “I AM . . . World Tour.” It’s the latest in what’s shaping up to be a busy year for the singer. In addition to her eight-song set last night in New Orleans, which included a reunion of Destiny’s Child, Beyoncé is the subject of Life Is But a Dream, an intimate documentary she directed that will premiere February 16th on HBO.
She’s also working on a new album, with collaborators including Justin Timberlake, Pharrell, Timbaland and The-Dream. The album, her fifth, will follow her 2011 release 4.
