Beyonce Drops June Birthdays Playlist Featuring Kanye West, Solange

It turns out a lot of great artists have birthdays in June, as exemplified by, of all people, Beyoncé. The singer curated a playlist and posted it to her website, writing, “Enjoy this playlist in celebration of some of the great musical talents born in the month of June!” Her picks include Prince‘s recent single “Breakfast Can Wait,” Kanye West‘s “All Falls Down” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Good Kid” as well as some family love for little sister Solange’s “Lovers in the Parking Lot.” (The latter choice would appear to indicate everything’s alright after the infamous elevator fight between Solange and Jay Z.) Beyoncé also chose two of the songs currently dominating Billboard‘s Hot 100: Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX’s “Fancy” and Ariana Grande and Azalea’s “Problem.”

Earlier this week, the singer made available “Drunk in Love” emoji shirts based on the hit viral music video of the raunchy song. Beyoncé recently released the video for “Pretty Hurts” to celebrate appearing on the cover of Time for its list of the 100 most influential people and sang with collaborator Boots on a duet called “Dreams.” John Mayer also performed an acoustic tribute to Queen Bey with his cover of “XO.”
This summer, Beyoncé will hit the road with husband Jay Z for their “On the Run” tour kicking off June 25th at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium.
