Banks Announces Headlining U.S. Tour Supporting ‘The Altar’

Banks will embark on a headlining tour this June in support of her latest album, The Altar.

The tour begins June 2nd at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia and includes stops in Boston, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Pittsburgh and Columbus. The singer-songwriter will also make stops at festivals including Governors Ball June 3rd, Firefly in Delaware June 15th through 18th and Electric Forest in Rothbury, Michigan, June 22nd through 25th. Tickets for the tour go on sale March 3rd via Banks’ website.

Banks is currently touring the U.K. and Europe, and has a handful of previously announced West Coast dates scheduled in April around her appearance at Coachella. That short trek begins April 11th at the Fox Theater in Pomona, California.

Banks released her second album, The Altar last September, preempting the record with striking videos for tracks “Fuck With Myself” and “Gemini Feed.” The LP follows her 2014 debut, Goddess.
