Backstreet Boys Announce 2017 Las Vegas Residency

Backstreet Boys have announced that they will kick off a 18-date Las Vegas residency starting in March 2017.
The boy band’s Larger Than Life show, named after their 1999 hit, debuts at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s the Axis venue on March 1st and scatters 17 more concerts until July 1st.
“We’re going to call the show Larger Than Life, and we’re taking that theme and we’re going to run with it,” Backstreet Boys’ Kevin Richardson said in a video promoting the residency. “It’s gonna be an amazing, energetic, fun party show.
“What can you expect from the show? If you’ve ever been to a Backstreet Boys show, it’s going to be that on steroids,” Brian Littrell added. “Can fans expect to see all the hits? Of course.”

Billboard bills the Larger Than Life shows initial dates a “trial residency,” suggesting that, if successful, more dates could be announced. Tickets for the Backstreet Boys’ Vegas run go on sale on October 1st. Check out the boy band’s website for full dates and ticket information.
The announcement of the Backstreet Boys’ residency comes just days after Mariah Carey announced her own two-year Vegas run, at Caesars Palace’s the Colosseum, will conclude in May. Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears and Celine Dion have also staged Vegas residencies in recent years.
