Ariana Grande Releases Sultry ‘Dangerous Woman’ Title Track
Ariana Grande has debuted her new single “Dangerous Woman,” off her upcoming album of the same name. The singer and former Nickelodeon actress will host and be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend.
The song deals in temptation. “Something ’bout you / Makes me feel like a dangerous woman,” Grande sings on the sultry chorus. “Something ’bout you/ Makes me want to do things that I shouldn’t. Later she confesses, “‘Cause I’m a taker, ’cause I’m a giver / It’s only nature / I live for danger.”
Dangerous Woman will be Grande’s third album. The album was formerly known as Moonlight, and the singer will debut a second new song — “Be Alright” — during her SNL appearance.
Grande’s sophomore album, My Everything, came out in 2014, and the singer spent most of 2015 touring in support of the LP. In October, she unveiled the single “Focus,” which features uncredited vocals from Jamie Foxx, and later surprise-released the trap-holiday EP Christmas & Chill. Earlier this year, she appeared on her ex-boyfriend Nathan Sykes’ single “Over and Over Again,” which will appear on his upcoming solo debut.
In addition to releasing her “Dangerous Woman” single, Grande announced via Twitter that her album of the same name is available for pre-order. Her iTunes page reveals that the 15-song set is expected on May 20th.
