Watch Anne-Marie’s Ode to Self-Love With ‘Perfect to Me’ Video

Anne-Marie turned her Speak Your Mind track “Perfect” into an empowering new video. “Perfect to Me” tackles the British singer’s unique definition of perfection. At the beginning of the video, Anne-Marie talks to the camera about her definition of “perfect” and how it has evolved since she was young.

“When I was a teenager, probably being as skinny as possible. That’s what I thought ‘perfect’ was,” she offers candidly as home video footage rolls in the background. These days, she appreciates the imperfections. After the song starts up, it pauses throughout to let a diverse group of people speak about their own definitions of perfection and journey to self-love.

As the video progresses, Anne-Marie is seen getting dolled up for a photoshoot that is plastered across billboards. Once it wraps, she is seen taking out the hair extensions and wiping off her make-up before she’s finally seen bare-faced at the end.

Anne-Marie released her debut album Speak Your Mind earlier this year. She has since toured with Ed Sheeran, who co-wrote her single “2002.”
