Against Me! Live at Rolling Stone: Watch the Set
In 2007, Florida punks Against Me! broke out with the raging, Butch Vig-produced disc New Wave. They still have plenty to bitch about on their new disc White Crosses, which features frontman Tom Gabel’s angry-as-hell screeds against anti-abortion activists and deeply felt reflections on life as a teenage anarchist.
Against Me! recently dropped by the Rolling Stone offices to perform four tracks from the record — and while the band went acoustic, they didn’t lose an ounce of their raucous punk spirit. Check out clips of the band rocking “I Was a Teenage Anarchist,” “Ache With Me,” “Spanish Moss” and “White Crosses” (featuring ex-Hold Steady member Franz Nicolay on accordion).
