Adele ‘Upgrades’ to Stadiums for First Australian Tour
Adele is “upgrading” to stadiums for her first Australian tour. The singer will kick off the trek February 28th, 2017 in Perth before heading to Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne throughout March, Pitchfork reports. “In the round, outdoors and upgrading myself to stadiums to make sure I get to see as many of you as possible,” she wrote in a handwritten note posted Monday on Twitter.

Adele toured throughout the year behind her third LP, 2015’s acclaimed 25, kicking off a 56-date North American trek in July. The album, which spawned the ubiquitous single “Hello,” shattered ‘NSync’s first-week sales record.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Adele talked about battling postpartum depression and stage fright, admitting that she’d be fine continuing to record but never touring again.
“I’m on tour simply to see everyone who’s been so supportive,” she said. “I don’t care about money. I’m British, and we don’t have that … thing of having to earn more money all the time. I don’t come from money; it’s not that important a part of my life.”
Adele will perform November 14th and 15th at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deprtes, followed by a November 21st show at Phoenix’s Talking Stick Resort Arena.
