Adam Levine is under fire for his controversial comment on last night’s episode of The Voice. After his contestants Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons were eliminated – leaving Amber Carrington as his team’s sole survivor – the Maroon 5 singer and coach on The Voice seemingly muttered “I hate this country” into a live mic while off-screen. Levine took to Twitter after the show, sarcastically defending himself in a series of tweets that posted dictionary definitions to the words “joke,” “humorless,” “lighthearted” and “misunderstand.”
