3 Things That Piss Off Dee Snider
Dee Snider has never been the shy and reserved type. He wrote Twisted Sister’s hellraising anthems “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” “I Wanna Rock” and “Be Chrool to Your Scuel,” and he stood up to the U.S. government at a 1985 hearing when it was facing pressure from the Parents Music Resource Center to censor music. Because Snider is a loud-and-proud firebrand, Rolling Stone asked him to sound off on three things that really get under his skin.
The clip above is the inaugural installment in Rolling Stone’s new video series, “3 Things That Piss Me Off.” It’s an opportunity for artists and celebrities to get whatever’s gnawing at them off their chests, no matter how trivial it might seem.
Last month, Snider led Twisted Sister’s last-ever U.S. concert and released a new solo album, We Are the Ones. Here, he uses the opportunity to lambaste people who don’t understand thermostats, New York City buses and jaywalking ordinances.
