When news broke Monday night that Kiss finally made it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (after what superfans percevied as years and years of snubs), you could probably hear an audible roar of relief from the billions of Kiss Army members that span the globe. Gene Simmons himself told us yesterday how proud he was of the honor, saying that the American dream “is alive and well” and a reunion with the original members is not out of the question. Fans, too, were over the moon about the decision and expressed a wide swath of emotions online. Here’s a few of our favorites:

At least KISS finally made it in, but why aren’t the Pixies, the Cure, the Smiths, and Iron Maiden in the @rock_hall yet?

So my first favorite band, Kiss, finally got into the Rock Hall. Glad to hear, even though Gene was being so stubborn about it.
