After a well-received 2016 tour, Yusuf / Cat Stevens returned in September with The Laughing Apple, an album featuring newly recorded versions of songs he wrote in the 1960s. John Lennon, “Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)”

This shows a sweet part of John that you don’t often get, since he was so cryptic. It’s an outpouring of love for his son Sean.

Harry Chapin, “Cat’s in the Cradle”

This song has been haunting me for years, since people think that I wrote it. It reflects the dilemma of many homes. A beautiful song.
