In its four years of existence, Las Vegas' iHeartRadio Music Fest has hosted just about every pop star we've got, placing one-hit wonders like Ylvis alongside living legends like Jay Z, Rihanna and Brad Paisley. Accordingly, this year's lineup included everyone from Meghan Trainor to Mötley Crüe, Weezer to One Direction and Eric Church to Nicki Minaj. Here are our best photos from the event's onstage and backstage action from the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Usher, the man behind 2004's "Yeah!," strikes a pose. He would later be joined by Chris Brown, the man behind 2010's "Yeah 3x."
The same weekend that her We Are Here organization became the subject of a Nicholas Kristof's New York Times column, Alicia Keys walks backstage with Will.i.am. Both would perform (individually) during the festival.
Eric Church draws out a note – or offers the crowd an invisible toast – during his iHeartRadio set. Other country acts on the bill included the Zac Brown Band and Kacey Musgraves.
Over two decades after playing his first Atlanta club sets, Lil Jon is turning up bigger crowds than ever. His iHeartRadio set was one of the festival's rowdiest.
Backstage before his set, legendary Dutch DJ Tiësto poses in Hood by Air long-sleeve shirt.
Iggy Azalea crouches near the stage, presumably to discuss the merits of a recent New Yorker blog post concerning her supposed authenticity – or lack thereof.
Ed Sheeran, as usual, makes the large stadium feel genuinely intimate. Covering a recent L.A. gig, Rolling Stone's Gavin Edwards wrote of the singer's onstage style, "At times, he performed as if he were busking in a subway station, but this was busking of the highest order: the type of set that would make you miss your train and drop some bills into the guitar case."
Taylor Swift shoots someone a glance before her iHeartRadio set. Mixing old material with new songs like "Shake It Off," Swift toed the line between country and pop – and wore an jewel-covered, midriff-exposing outfit that did the same.
Nicki Minaj kills 'em dead.
Rivers Cuomo and Co. rock out.
One Direction takes a break from filling football stadiums with relatively small Grand Garden Arena set. Here, Harry sends a message into the camera.
