Paul McCartney, Adam Yauch and Other Stars Support the Tony Hawk Foundation

The Tony Hawk Foundation has united skaters and musicians for Board and Bands, a collaborative fundraising project. Each artist wrote their lyrics on a series of old skateboards from various pros, creating unique pieces of visual art; now fans and street-shredders alike can bid on the boards on eBay, with proceeds going toward building new skate parks.
Tony Hawk teamed with Paul McCartney, Jamie Thomas partnered with Bob Dylan, Mike Vallely got together with Tom Petty and Bucky Lasek worked with the late Adam Yauch, among other collaborations. Here, check out each decorated board – and if you're in Los Angeles, you can see them on display at the Grammy Museum until December 13th, when the auction ends. Skate, destroy and rebuild.
