In 2012, the first Global Citizen Festival included Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Foo Fighters, the Black Keys and John Legend. Now, two years later, the event expanded its tent to include Jay Z, Sting, No Doubt, Carrie Underwood, Tiësto and the Roots. The tickets were free, so long as fans would "share content about three main themes: vaccines, education and sanitation" with the goal of bringing wider attention to global poverty. Here are our finest photos from the show.
