Cat Power returned to New York City this week for a handful of intimate shows at small venues. She offered to caption pics from her March 11th gig at the Music Hall of Williamsburg herself, offering us a rare peek into her personal world:

"I think I need Keith Richards' guitar tech, I know he's Japanese 'cause [Jon Spencer Blues Explosion's] Judah Bauer told me so. Been havin probs with my favorite copper Sixties Danelectro so I was attempting a quick fix to the wood slat inside the bridge on my guitar."

Lost and Found

"Sometimes when I come in town I don't get to see half the people I love 'cause I am always working. When I get to see them I am always moved and always love to do a pow-wow sit down so everybody can be part of some community. This photo I was happy to be with everyone, feeling lost where I wanna be."
