Zac Brown Band has compiled their first ever career anthology, a 14-track album titled Greatest Hits So Far… The collection includes 11 country chart-toppers, from the band’s first, 2008’s “Chicken Fried,” to their latest, “Sweet Annie.” The album is available for pre-order on iTunes now and will hit stores November 10th. The very next day, the band will perform on the Mall in Washington D.C., at the first ever Concert for Valor, where they will join an array of stars to commemorate Veterans’ Day. The three-hour concert will feature talents ranging from Rihanna to Bruce Springsteen and will broadcast live on HBO.
Zac Brown Band have been busy in the midst of their momentous Great American Road Trip, a tour which has taken them across the country from Gilford, New Hampshire to recent shows in San Antonio, Texas. The trek has been hugely successful, with ZBB joining the Rolling Stones, Jimmy Buffett, Springsteen and the Police as the fifth band to have sold out Boston’s Fenway Park without any supporting acts. Fans on the West Coast can look forward to performances in California and Arizona later this month.
This weekend, Zac Brown Band will headline and host the fourth annual Southern Ground Music and Food Festival in Charleston, South Carolina. Brown has been heavily involved in curating his two-day celebration of Southern hospitality, cuisine and music (one of Rolling Stone Country‘s picks for must-see musical events this fall).
