Watch Sam Outlaw’s Breezy Living Room Performance of ‘All My Life’

Los Angeles-based performer and band charge through ‘Tenderheart’ track in new video

Sam Outlaw might be spending his summer touring Europe, but he’s keeping the home fires burning with a newly released live video of his song “All My Life.”

“It’s this fun, optimistic sing-along,” Outlaw told the accompanying podcast for amplification company LR Baggs. “I’ve been playing it live for years but never got a proper cut of it, never released it.”

Off April’s Tenderheart, “All My Life” chops the tempo midway through and puts emphasis on the pedal steel, before returning at an even faster clip as it races toward its end. More akin to Sixties honky tonk than the modern top 40, it appears near the end of Outlaw’s second album.

Upon completing the European leg of his tour, Outlaw returns to Nashville for 2017 Americana Music Association’s Honors and Awards event in September, where he has been nominated for “Emerging Artist of the Year.”
