Dustin Lynch is seeing more than just colors in the video for his sexy new single “Seein’ Red,” letting himself be consumed by visions and fantasies of a beautiful temptress.
With a progressive-country sound full of breathless vocals, synthesized effects and a blood-pumping beat, the track is easily the steamiest music Lynch has ever made – and his video follows suit. Directed by Adam Rothlein and filmed in an all-white room, images of Lynch getting down and dirty with a crimson-clad beauty flash on a big red wall, seemingly a representation of the rising star’s inner thoughts.
He and his band fight through the distraction at first, continuing to barrel through the song, but things reach a suggestive and explosive conclusion as the romantic urgency peaks.
Co-written by Kurt Allison, Steve Bogard, Tully Kennedy and Jason Sever “Seein’ Red” follows back-to-back-to-back Gold and Platinum success of Lynch’s “Where It’s At (Yep, Yep),” “Hell of a Night” and “Mind Reader.” It’s the first single off his upcoming third album, which the singer says will be “very sexy.”
