On Friday, February 10th, almost exactly one year to the day Brett Young released his 2016 self-titled EP, he will hit outlets with his first full-length (and once again self-titled) LP. This time, however, he'll do it with a bona fide hit single on his hands.
The former college baseball pitcher, who took the romantic "Sleep Without You" to Number One on the Mediabase/Country Airplay/USA Today chart late last year, woke up early Thursday to join NBC's Today co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford for a breezy, live performance of the tune.
"It took a couple of weeks for it to sink in," he told the hosts of the experience of hitting the top of the country radio chart. Young's latest single, "In Case You Didn't Know," is out now and already nearing the Top 10 with digital sales in excess of 172,000. Young will hit the road on tours with Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum and Lee Brice throughout 2017.
