Watch Brett Eldredge’s Swinging ‘Let It Snow’ on ‘Live With Kelly’

Singer offers his version of the holiday hit from Frank Sinatra-inspired Christmas album ‘Glow’

Brett Eldredge brought the big band treatment to Live with Kelly on Friday, performing the holiday chestnut “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”

Guest host Taraji P. Henson, best known as Empire‘s Cookie Lyon, introduced Eldredge, calling him “country music’s new leading man.” Eldredge donned a tuxedo for the performance, crooning and snapping along as his band – complete with a horn section and upright bass – played a swing-influenced arrangement of the 1945 holiday classic.

Earlier this year, Eldredge released Glow, a holiday album inspired by his love of big band music and Frank Sinatra. “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” is the album’s opening track.

“This is really exciting for me, because a lot of people don’t know that I grew up singing Sinatra-type music,” he told Rolling Stone Country. “So it was a dream come true to live in New York for a week, walk to the studio down the street and really get in the vibe of this swinging Christmas music world.”

Eldredge is in the midst of “12 Days of Brett,” where he releases a new holiday video each day between December 5th and December 16th. He’ll join Luke Bryan’s Kill the Lights Tour in February.
