Watch Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Heat Up Billboard Music Awards

Real-life couple and ‘Voice’ coaches perform duet “Go Ahead and Break My Heart”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton brought their first collaboration “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” to the Billboard Music Awards stage Sunday night. The real-life couple will go on individual tours in support of their solo albums later this year.

The performance began with Shelton singing solo onstage before Stefani walked out. The pair kept eyes locked as they sang the romantic duet, which appears on Shelton’s latest album If I’m Honest and was co-written by the two musicians.

Shelton and Stefani debuted the duet on The Voice. The single is also Stefani’s country debut and follows the release of her first solo album in a decade, This Is What the Truth Feels Like.

Both artists’ tours will take place this fall, and Stefani will be joined by rapper Eve whom she collaborated with on her single “Rich Girl” and Eve’s single “Let Me Blow Ya Mind.”
