Taylor Swift didn’t take kindly to what Tina Fey and Amy Poehler said about her when they hosted the Golden Globes in January. In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Swift makes the point in a roundabout way while speaking on the subject of mean girls. “You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people,” Swift says. “Because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.'”

During the Globes, Fey and Poehler joked that Swift should keep her hands off Michael J. Fox’s son. Swift had just split with Harry Styles of One Direction and had a summer romance last year with Robert Kennedy Jr.’s son, Conor.

Today, Fey addressed Swift’s comments to Us Weekly. “It was just a joke, and I think it was actually a very benign joke,” she said. Poehler had a response as well. “Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl,” she told the Hollywood Reporter. “That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.”

As for Swift, it appears she’s already moved on with her love life – she reportedly spent the night with British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran last month, sparking dating rumors.
