Taylor Swift and Family Will Not Prosecute Trespasser

Criminal trespassing charges will be dropped against 24-year-old Jacob Kulke, who was arrested on the Belle Meade, Tennessee, property of Taylor Swift earlier this month, TMZ reports.
Prosecutors decided not to pursue criminal charges, with Kulke’s attorney maintaining that one of the reasons for the dropped charges was the absence of “No Trespassing” signs placed around the property’s perimeter. He argued this led Kulke to believe he could enter. Another reason, TMZ notes, is that Swift’s family reportedly did not want to move forward with the case.

Police caught Kulke on December 14th after he allegedly hopped the fence near Swift’s property; he was reportedly carrying a knife when he was arrested. According to the cops, Kulke said he was Swift’s boyfriend and that he’d traveled by bus from Wisconsin to be with her on her birthday.
