See RaeLynn Perform Encouraging New Song ‘Insecure’
RaeLynn has released the new song “Insecure,” a steady-handed rejection of jealousy off her full-album debut, WildHorse. A response to a night out the young star spent wondering what her husband thought of another attractive woman, “Insecure” is a heartfelt reminder for women to take a deep breath and trust in their man.
Co-written with fellow Voice alum Nicolle Galyon and Jimmy Robbins, who are also co-producers on WildHorse, the tune starts off with a dagger-eyed vibe of romantic rivalry before opening up into a bouncy chorus filled with wisdom and love.
“Don’t get insecure / He ain’t into her / She’s playing dirty, all flirty / From across the room / You might think she’s a 10 / But she doesn’t count to him,” she sings.
Check out an extra-raw acoustic version of the track above. WildHorse is due out December 2nd.
