See Luke Bryan’s Picturesque ‘Huntin’, Fishin” Video
There’s a consistent thread of romanticizing rural living in Luke Bryan’s recordings, whether in the moonlit, two lane road driving of “I Don’t Want This Night to End” or the water’s edge meditation in “Drink a Beer.” The superstar’s latest single “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” — from 2015’s Kill the Lights — longs for a full-time version of that life, where bass are a form of currency and date night takes place in a tree stand.
The video for “Huntin’, Fishin'” is as pretty as they get, viewing the outdoors life through the lens of a singer who now has the means to do whatever he wants but has only so much time to get away. Along with gorgeous, panoramic shots of a popular fishing spot and a deep sea excursion, the video includes appearances by Bryan’s wife Caroline and their sons Bo and Tate, plus one of song’s writers Dallas Davidson.
Fresh from his gig co-hosting the 51st ACM Awards, Bryan will resume his Kill the Lights tour on April 7th in Charleston, West Virginia. The summer-long trek includes six stadium shows, three of which will boast Chris Stapleton joining supporting acts Dustin Lynch and Little Big Town.
