See Luke Bryan Talk ‘Butt Ban,’ Perform ‘Move’ on ‘Ellen’
Ellen DeGeneres may be no Lester Holt, but she doesn’t shy away from asking the tough questions: like why Luke Bryan had to enforce a “no butt-grabbing” policy during meet-and-greets with his fans. “They’ll sneak one in on ya … it still happens,” said Bryan on his September 27th appearance on Ellen.
The fearless reporter presses onwards – because, journalism, guys. “Does this happen to everyone or is it just your butt?” she asks, inquiring as to whether or not compatriots like Blake Shelton and Eric Church fall victim to the injustice. Watch the full clip above to hear Bryan talk about the difference between turning 30 and 40, how he’s helping his kids discover their passions and more on his infamous booty embargo.
Cheek-fondling aside, Bryan ditches Ellen‘s hot seat to perform the energetic Kill the Lights single ‘Move.’ On Ellen‘s small stage, there’s no room for a pick-up truck to emerge from pyrotechnic embers, in Bryan’s typical arena-fashion, but between his boyish smile and signature hip-thrusting, it’s four-minutes of life well-spent. But, wait, did Ellen just grab his butt?
Bryan will embark on his annual Farm Tour on October 5th, kicking off in Gaston, South Carolina. Earlier this month, he released the Farm Tour…Here’s to the Farmer EP.
