See LoCash Perform Breezy New Single ‘I Know Somebody’ on ‘Kimmel’

Country duo LoCash made their late night television debut on March 23rd with a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live. In addition to their breakout hit single “I Love This Life,” Chris Lucas and Preston Brust performed their current single “I Know Somebody.”

Written by Ross Copperman, Jeremy Stover and Rhett Akins, “I Know Somebody” is the only cut from LoCash’s I Love This Life EP that Brust or Lucas did not have a hand in writing. Lucas handles the lead vocal responsibilities this time around, suavely wooing a woman with offers of generosity such as, “if you need somebody to show you around, I know somebody.”

The song’s strong hook at least rivals that of “I Love This Life,” which Lucas and Brust penned with “Buy Me a Boat” singer Chris Janson and Danny Myrick. That song spent 47 weeks on the Billboard Country Airplay chart before peaking at Number Two early in 2016. LoCash are tentatively planning to release their full length album later this year.
