See Lady Antebellum’s Thumping ‘You Look Good’ on ‘Artists Den’
Lady Antebellum’s new album Heart Break has been one of the most satisfying releases this year, a collection of songs that recaptures the energy of the Grammy-winning trio’s earlier work. Now, Lady A is taking some of those songs, along with best-known hits like “Need You Now” and “I Run to You,” to the movie screen.
Artists Den Presents Lady Antebellum will screen in more than 500 movie theaters on Tuesday, July 25th, at 7:30 p.m. local time. Ahead of the event, Rolling Stone Country is premiering a performance from the film: a livewire run through the band’s single “You Look Good.” Recorded at New York City’s United Palace Theatre, the concert film captures members Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood up-close, making for a particularly intimate experience. (Only 1,400 fans and guests viewed the show in person.)
Lady Antebellum is currently on their massive You Look Good Tour, with Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young.
“There’s definitely an energy and a freshness to the sound,” Kelley told Rolling Stone Country of “You Look Good,” a song augmented by a powerful horn section, which they’ll take on the road. “It definitely makes us perform better. You feed off that energy. Dave and I were just talking before about what cover songs open themselves up to having this great horn section. … We always mix up the set list a lot, but now adding a horn section is going to take it to the next level.”
Tickets for Artists Den Presents Lady Antebellum are available now.
