See Kristian Bush Sing ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ Theme ‘Forever Now’

In what may seem like an unlikely, ahem, marriage of talent, Kristian Bush has written and performed the new theme song to TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress. The 14th season of the popular wedding series premiered Friday, March 4th, with Bush’s new song “Forever Now (Say Yes).”

Buoyed by urgent piano chords and heroic guitar strums, the Sugarland co-founder sums up the excitement, anticipation and figurative weight of the big day. Interestingly, Bush — who is divorced — tells this story through both female and male perspectives, shifting from a woman’s walk down the aisle to the eager “diamond in the rough” waiting by the altar. Bush released his solo debut Southern Gravity in 2015.

Bush will also appear in an episode of SYTTD later this season, when a pair of his friends go dress shopping at Kleinfeld Bridal in New York. He has a Grand Ole Opry appearance on March 8th as well as festival dates lined up for Tortuga in Fort Lauderdale on April 15th and Stagecoach in Indio, California, on April 29th.
