See Dierks Bentley’s Surprise Nashville Club Show
To celebrate the announcement of his first-ever Nashville arena show – January 21st at the Bridgestone – Dierks Bentley is staging a surprise bar gig. At 8:00 p.m. CT tonight, Monday, November 14th, Bentley will take the stage at Legends Corner, a honky-tonk across the street from the Bridgestone Arena. The CMA Award-nominated vocalist confirmed the pop-up concert on social media this morning. [Stream the show live, exclusively on Rolling Stone Country, by pressing the play button above.]
“We’ve been off the road for a couple of weeks and I’ve already got that itch to work again, to see the guys in my band and just play music,” Bentley tells Rolling Stone Country. “We’re taking it back to where it all started down on Lower Broad at the honky-tonks.”
Bentley famously began his career playing country cover songs for tips in the bars of Nashville’s Lower Broadway district. His set tonight is slated to consist mainly of those very same cover songs. Tickets to his headlining show at Bridgestone Arena, where he’ll play cuts off his latest album Black and past hits like his first Number One “What Was I Thinkin’,” go on sale Friday, November 18th.
