The world has gotten to see a whole new side of Scotty McCreery in 2018, and now the former American Idol winner will round off the year with a fresh U.S. tour in support of his latest LP, Seasons Change, with support from Jimmie Allen and Heather Morgan.
Far from the deep-voiced kid who won the 10th season of the reality TV show before he’d even turned 18, the now 24-year-old McCreery reinvented himself this year with his first release since leaving Mercury Records, scoring a Number One with “Five More Minutes.” Now working with the new Triple Tigers label, he’ll hit the road for a run of 13 dates between November and January, starting at House of Blues in Dallas, Texas, and following a selection of theaters through the Midwest and Southeast. The tour wraps up in Westbury, New York, and in addition to Allen and Morgan will also include Mike Ryan for a date in Houston, Texas.
“When I was 17, what was I going to say?” McCreery told Rolling Stone Country in March. “I didn’t know anything about life. I wasn’t paying my own bills, and I had a lot of growing up to do. Basically, I listened to what other people were saying. Now, I took a more hands-on approach. I know what I want to say, and how to say it.”
Seasons Change, McCreery’s fourth album, reached Number One on the country chart. The full itinerary of his Seasons Change Tour is below.
