Sam Hunt to Drop ‘X2C’ Before Debut Album’s Release

Sam Hunt, whose breakout hit, “Leave the Night On,” is currently in the Top 25 and climbing, will release his full-length debut album for MCA Nashville on October 27th.

One of Rolling Stone Country‘s 10 New Artists You Need to Know this summer, the Georgia native has already sold more than 197,000 copies of his single since it was released in June. The feel-good hit will be one of four tracks available on August 12th with X2C, a preview of the new LP.
Hunt has scored hits with songs he’s penned for Kenny Chesney (“Come Over”), Keith Urban (“Cop Car”) and Billy Currington (“We Are Tonight”) and has also toured with David Nail and Little Big Town. This fall, he’ll join Kip Moore and Charlie Worsham for CMT on Tour: Up in Smoke. The 21-city trek kicks off September 25th in New York City.
