Armed with a lifetime of experience in the entertainment industry and her personal brand of Oklahoma wit, McEntire will welcome guests to the show to discuss various aspects of life, from its rewards to its challenges, all with the goal of helping others. The show, which premieres in 2020, will also feature special guests.
McEntire’s upcoming project is the latest country-music podcast for Spotify. In September, the country trio Midland launched their Set It Straight With Midland series, which seeks to answer country music’s burning questions.
“I am so excited to be partnering with Spotify on my new podcast and I’m even more excited to be connecting with my fans in a way I haven’t done before,” says McEntire in a statement. “I’m looking forward to sharing some of what I’ve learned from my own life challenges and hopefully learning more along the way.”
A launch date and additional details of McEntire’s podcast will be revealed in the coming weeks. Next up for the Country Music Hall of Fame legend is the 53rd annual CMA Awards on Wednesday, November 13th, which she’s co-hosting with Dolly Parton and Carrie Underwood.
