Reba McEntire’s Big Apple and Sin City gigs are the focus of today’s Ram Report.
The country queen will appear as the guest announcer on Neil Patrick Harris’ new variety show, Best Time Ever, on October 20th at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC. She follows in the famous footsteps of Reese Witherspoon, Alec Baldwin, Tyler Perry, Shaquille O’Neal and Jack Black, who have all appeared as guest announcers on the New York City-based program in its first season.
Reba has most of next month off from the road, with the exception of a few concert dates here and there, but she’ll resume her “Together in Vegas” residency with Brooks & Dunn on December 1st. The longtime friends have extended their run of shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace through May of 2016.
Of course, Reba was the catalyst of Brooks & Dunn’s reunion, after the duo called it quits four years ago. The three decided over dinner one night that they’d all team up for a Sin City residency. “We needed a good referee,” Kix Brooks told Rolling Stone Country after their big Caesars announcement, which paired him back with singing partner of more than two decades, Ronnie Dunn. “[Reba] makes us both behave. It really is a great way for Ronnie and I to get back together. I think it’s been a great break for both of us.”
