Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus to Produce Adventure Film ‘All Shook Up’
Jay DeMarcus is making like David O. Selznick. The Rascal Flatts bassist and music producer is getting into the movie producing game. He’s signed on to produce a new adventure movie titled All Shook Up.
A coming-of-age film, the movie centers around a real-life military incident in 1958, when two U.S. Air Force jets collided in the skies over Savannah, Georgia, resulting in the disappearance of a nuclear bomb. In All Shook Up, two boys go on the hunt for the nuke, missing in the waters off the Atlantic.
DeMarcus will produce the film with Travis Cloyd and writer Gregg Russell, while Guy Griffithe serves as executive producer.
“I love the movie making business,” DeMarcus said in a statement. “I always enjoy the process, and I learn more and more every time I do a new project. It’s another fun, creative outlet.”
DeMarcus and his bandmates in Rascal Flatts are currently on the road in support of their 10th studio album Back to Us.
