Rascal Flatts Extend Las Vegas Residency

While Las Vegas often sends its visitors away begging for mercy (or a loan), country artists like Rascal Flatts can’t seem to stay away for long.
Recently, the country trio of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney announced a second run of nine dates for its Las Vegas residency, now dubbed “Rascal Flatts Rhythm and Roots,” and scheduled to kick off February 17th. The shows will return Rascal Flatts to the Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas and wrap up March 5th. Tickets for the shows go on sale November 20th.
In February 2015, Rascal Flatts became the first country band to get its own Las Vegas residency with the nine-show “Rascal Flatts Vegas Riot!” in the 4000-capacity room the Joint. The shows were designed to put a focus on the guys’ harmonies while peeling back some of the bigger production touches of their past arena tours.
Before Rascal Flatts make their return to the Joint, the venue will benefit from National Finals Rodeo’s presence in Las Vegas December 3rd through 12th. Those in town will have a chance to catch Little Big Town with Ashley Monroe on December 4th, as well as a two-night stand by Gary Allan on December 11th and 12th.
Once Rascal Flatts finishes this residency, Las Vegas will welcome George Strait’s limited-run “Strait to Vegas” to the new Las Vegas Arena on April 22nd. At this point, Strait only has eight shows scheduled through February 2017 but hasn’t ruled out the possibility of booking additional dates.
