Miranda Lambert and the Band Perry will be in good company at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on September 9th, as the annual Fashion Rocks TV special welcomes a who’s who list of stars from the worlds of music and fashion. The two country artists will perform alongside Afrojack, Duran Duran, Jennifer Lopez, Kiss, Nico & Vinz, Pitbull, Rita Ora and Usher on the live broadcast, which will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest. Additional performers and presenters will be announced soon.
Lambert and Kimberly Perry are perfect examples of the ever-present bridge between music and fashion. The “Somethin’ Bad” singer owns her own boutique, the Pink Pistol, in her adopted hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. She even styled herself for her recent Rolling Stone cover shoot in clothes from her store.
Perry has scored many best-dressed lists with her unique style, both on red carpets and on stage. “We like to bring fashion to the forefront, as we feel like it holds hands with our music,” she tells Elle magazine. “We grew up listening to country but we also grew up on rock & roll, so I’ve looked a lot to Stevie Nicks, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and those sorts of style icons to wrap into what we do.”
Fashion Rocks airs September 9th at 9:00 p.m. ET on CBS. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster July 28th for American Express card holders and August 1st for the general public.

It will be a spectacular affair, featuring some of the world’s most talented musicians as well as today’s hottest fashions.”
