At Sunday's Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line took home the country genre's biggest honors. For Bryan, that meant victories in the Top Country Artist category and in Top Country Album, for his Crash My Party release. Florida Georgia Line won Top Country Song for "Cruise," sharing the prize with rapper Nelly, who appeared on the remix of the single, the longest running Number One on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
Country stalwart Alan Jackson was singled out as well, winning Top Christian Album for his gospel project Precious Memories: Volume II, while the fan-voted Milestone Award also went to a country artist: Carrie Underwood. During the show, Underwood joined Miranda Lambert to debut their new duet "Something Bad," a track from Lambert's upcoming album Platinum.
